CHRISTMAS IS THE HERO TIME OF THE YEAR!

To tap into one's highest and best self is tricky but my constant stumbling attempt to do do so,

is the reason I am sending out to you this holiday greeting to let you know that I am thinking of all of you warmly, sincerely, and fondly. And, that I wish you, family & pets, a Merry Christmas! and a Happy New Year!

Carroll Shelby: 1923 Capricorn as is Kamaroh. He is one of my faulted heroes and is one of the first inductees into Kamaroh's KAOG club!
Bill Lane 1919 to 2010: Publisher of Sunset Magazine from the Fifties until 1990. . Wanted his magazine to embody and protect the West's natural beauty. Causes were "Yosemite Fund;" "National Parks Conservation Fund;" and, "The Bill Lane Center for the American West at Stanford!"
Colin Powell: I like his level intelligence.He is also a good example of my belief that triumph is possible for the common man.
Walt Disney: Because of the fun! I have always been a fan his cartoons of course. I also admire his business skills.
Bill Clinton: I am a Republican and so this is not easy for me. but I think his effort in Pyongyang to rescue Euna Lee and Laura Ling is above and beyond and definitely heroic!
Paul John Teutal, American Choppers! I am a little iffy about this hero. I do have respect for his fearless and direct challenges to the behavior of his sons. I also like his ability to acquire material resources that provide him with a manly lifestyle.

Norman Schartzkopf, Stormin' Norman, US ARMY-- DESERT STORM! (General/Republican).
My Grandfather: Louis, (Farmer/Story Teller) Colorado. He was a frail man who is a hero by special circumstance. While I was at his farm reccuperating from Polio & unable to attend school, he taught me to read and to write. He would tell wonderfull stories until my grandmother would yell at him to stop.
My Grandfather: Fred, (Farmer/Rock Hound), Nebraska.
